Box Breathing

Select a square shape somewhere in your surroundings. You will always find a square somewhere.

Fix your gaze on the upper left corner of the square. Follow the upper side with your eyes to the upper right corner, while slowly inhaling. Try to pace yourself so that you reach the upper right corner when you’ve filled your lungs.

While holding your breath, slowly let your gaze follow the right side down to the lower right corner.

Next, follow the lower side with your eyes while slowly exhaling. Once more, pace it so that you reach the lower left corner when you’ve completely exhaled.

The last step, which is hard the first times you do it, is to keep your breath out while slowly following the left side to the upper left corner. Once you get used to it, it will get surprisingly easy to do.

Repeat the process, following the sides with your eyes while controlling your breathing, at least ten times. Preferrably twenty.
